Online calculators link that tell you “how much you can not afford to be” accurate?
And my monthly income was 5500 before tax. I do not have any debt (and I even have my car) and I have 20k to put down and they tell me that I only can get a loan on a 200k house ????? I know a friend of mind who make less than I do a loan for one year only last 300K. What is deal.oh and credit rating of 730

no you can go to 350k if you want to but do you want to go that high. I always recommend that you buy less so you can have a life not just a mortgage

LikeDislikeTo be honest, if the calculator says you can afford 200k, in reality it’s probably 150k. They overinflate the numbers in the hopes that you’ll go in and try to get a loan.
