You need a visa that permits you to work in the USA. I had a client from Europe, and he had a work visa and a tax ID number, so he qualified for a mortgage. Talk to a mortgage broker. The mortgage broker will be happy to go through the whole process with you.

LikeDislikeThe answer depends on things like the loan to value, credit score, % of coverage required, type of program (30 vs. 15 yr, etc.)
Google PMI (the company), MGIC, Genworth, radian, RMIC or an other PMI company and they will usually have a rate finder calculator for you to price it out yourself.
The thing you won’t know is the % of coverage required.
Call a bank and ask to speak to a loan officer and they may be able to get the info to calculate it for you.
Good luck.
